Brochure

Well, I did the same one in the example, but I think I did a decent job!

My Web Layout

If I were to make a web layout for myself, this is probably what it would look like. Sorry I'm not too good at web-design, I'm more into posters and such. In my opinion, it's not too shabby for a first try.

Business Cards

So I decided to do the business cards based on the restaurant logo design that I had created for the previous project. You'll see in the corners random white spaces, and those areas would be cut out to not only make the cards more modern, but easier to grab. Hope you enjoy!

Some Logos

So I created my own personal logo, and it contains a cup of hot chocolate and a huge red "M" on it. I come from Colorado Springs, so hot chocolate was pretty much a vital drink to me. And my name is...well...Marie, and my favorite color is red. The company logo was for a hip new restaurant called "Salad Republic." So here you go, enjoy!

CD Cover

My favorite season is fall, and my favorite instrument to listen to is the violin. The titles are titles of what would be country songs, since I am from Colorado. My passion in photoshop is to use brushes to easily create an image I desire. Enjoy!

Posters

a poster promoting a random club I made up

promotion poster for the course
Well this was pretty fun for me, because I'm used to making posters. I think I could've been more creative with the poster for the promotion of the course, but I'm gonna stick with it. As you may have notice, I like to use a lot of color to excite people and to have them interested in what's going on. Enjoy guys!

Asymmetrical and Symmetrical

Asymmetrical

Symmetrical
You can see that this inspiration for these two pieces were stars. I thought it was kinda fun to play around with them and especially cut them into even smaller pieces to the point where you knew it used to be a star, but it's now something different. It's been a while since I have used Illustrator.

Well, right now I am attending BYU Hawaii. This is the first time I've ever blogged, and that's probably because it's an online version of a diary. That and I'm too lazy. At the moment, I am majoring in Biochemistry, but I'm hoping to transfer to either BYU Provo or BYU Idaho so I can study nursing. It's raining quite a bit here, but it just makes everything fresh. I have so many friends here, and I've made many memories that I'll treasure for the rest of my life. My best friends are Barbara Shelton, Josh Jenson, Shilo McDermott, Riley Mills, Aneka Collingridge, and I have a feeling that list is going to expand as I continue my journey in life. I am a convert, and by February 22nd, it will have been a year since I've been baptized. I graduated from Pine Creek High School, and it was loads of fun going there. I cannot wait to have a boyfriend, like every girl here on campus, but I think I'll just be myself and see what happens from here. I miss my family like heck, and I love them so much. I pray for everyone to be well and happy! :D
